A new year. New plans. Isn’t that how it goes? Well I am going to rehash the main one from the previous couple of years. I am trying to be organised. Each year I promise myself I will be or at least more so than the prior twelve months but yet I never quite manage it. Well I suppose I was a little more organised last year, not much: I’ll take that little win.

I start out with all the best intentions but then life gets in the way. A job that should be easy takes longer. Another part of your life becomes more complicated or just the motivation takes an unauthorised leave of absence. Totally unfair and extremely frustrating.

So how am I trying to be organised this year? I am a fan of lists. I did think about scheduling jobs over the year but decided that was more likely to fail. So I stuck with the trusty list. Its not a massive list but it has some makes that I have been trying to work on for a while. I know I won’t complete them all. Life would never be that kind. Half I will be happy with.

What is the main goal for the year? First I need to restock. Then get a few new lines added. Get more traffic to the website. Make sure I am better prepared for the next festive season. I know this one has only just finished but that is the nature of the beast. I am also setting aside time for my new venture which I started last year which hopefully will be leading to another this year…both require no wool. A complete different direction.
